November can be challenging and is a month of weather transition in the city

This morning I noticed the light was mostly straight down the the numbered streets in the downtown area (if you are not familiar with downtown Denver they run on a SE/NW direction)

I started to set up a scene to photograph in hopes the light rail train would depart soon

I watched as some of the evening aircraft landed

Using a thirty second exposure on this image I was able to capture the movement of the clouds as I used a telephoto lens to brings the mountains closer to me

While not only bridging the gap between the buildings the Greek Ampitheater also serves as a meeting place, and in this instance a welcoming to the City of Denver. This photograph was taken in 2008, which allows the reminder of the Rocky Mountain News to show on the white building across the park.
