the motor is undamaged but not wired due to safety reasons - it is something that can be easily admired as a showpiece nevertheless

This vessel bowl is brought to life with a brilliant burnt orange and brown haresfur glaze  The brown hues travel down into the raised foot - this is mirrored by the base of the bowl (internally)

Filed under the patent 5457Originally presented to the Sheffield firm of Dixon and Sons as a design by Christopher Dresser (of which he sold them thirty seven ambitious blueprints) this 20th century reproduction yet amazingly patinated footed teapot is one of the more recognisable from the range. Regarded as wildly unusual for the late 19th century, Dresser's teapots were undoubtedly ahead of their time and rarely materialised from production. They were always an expensive
